As the founder, creator and CEO of The Immersion, Erica Foreman is responsible for all facets of the business. Having had a straddled experience in both the corporate world and the film industry, Erica brings to the table a vast experience, knowledge and proven track record of success. Prior to jumping into the film industry, Erica worked for reputable organizations like that of NASA, the Philadelphia 76ers, Verizon Business and Morgan Stanley. After raising her siblings during college and assisting her mother with a drug addiction, she made a decision to leave the corporate world and pursue her dream of film working on sets for BET, TV One and working on television shows like that of Ava Duvernay’s Queen Sugar on the OWN network. In the pursuit of her film dream, she started writing her first feature film on the Tulsa Riots of Black Wall Street and in the process, she thought of pursuing a Virtual Reality walk-through of what Greenwood, Tulsa, OK (Black Wall Street) would be like in 1921 as an introduction to the film at the premier. After planning it out, she furthered the concept and thought of all of the moments in African-American history she would have liked to have been a part of or been able to learn from by experiencing them for herself…and in turn, The Immersion was conceived. With a heart for educating the youth, Erica has noticed that generational storytelling of our history to your young people is a lost tradition and believes The Immersion can help reignite this lost art.
Erica attended the University of North Carolina and later transferred to Temple University where she completed her B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Film, Television and Radio and went on to pursue and graduate with her MBA in Marketing.
